Lead Engineer - PM & Villa Maintenance

  The PM & Villa Maintenance Lead Engineer is responsible for overseeing the Tower & Villa Preventative Maintenance (PM) program and daily maintenance operations for luxury Villas and designated guest accommodations. This position ensures all preventive maintenance activities are completed on schedule, maintains the highest standards of guest room condition and presentation, and leads engineering team members in delivering exceptional service, safety, and operational excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Preventative Maintenance Program Manage and coordinate the Tower & Villa Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule. Ensure all PM inspections and work orders are completed accurately and on time. Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions to reduce equipment failures. Perform quality inspections to verify PM standards are met. Maintain PM records, documentation, and compliance reports. Villa Maintenance Oversight Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities within Villas and other luxury accommodations. Ensure Villa rooms and equipment are maintained to the highest guest service standards. Conduct detailed inspections and identify deficiencies requiring immediate attention. Schedule maintenance work to minimize guest disruption. Partner with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Villa Services to prioritize room readiness. Leadership & Team Development Lead, train, mentor, and support engineering team members assigned to PM and Villa operations. Assign daily tasks and ensure accountability for work completion. Promote safety, professionalism, and outstanding guest service. Assist with performance coaching and employee development. Operational Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, carpentry, and general maintenance issues. Review and prioritize work orders through HOTSOS or other maintenance management systems. Monitor inventory levels and request materials and supplies as needed. Respond to urgent maintenance issues and guest requests. Assist management with project planning and execution. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and work areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Participate in emergency response procedures and incident investigations as required. Minimum 5 years of hotel engineering or facilities maintenance experience. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems. Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs. Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Proficiency with maintenance management software (HOTSOS preferred).
